I love social media,
I am a curious person and am trying to make learning as part of my daily Routine..
Learning is in my blood..
Whether the learning is in politics
Science
Child care
Cooking
Management
Exercise
Special needs
Beauty
Countries
Health issues
Etc etc
Social media makes it possible…and easy..
The world (and knowledge) is between my hands…under my finger..
It might have a downside to it (wasting time, addiction) ..
but it has more advantages than disadvantages.
My long term favourite one is twitter (till now).. Direct contact to some of the influential figures.. The direct knowledge of matters and issues affecting different societies and countries..enriched experience gained from lively discussions..
I read and take the back seat most of the time,, or contribute with my piece of thought; knowledge; rambling..if you are addicted to writing, you would understand me 🙂
I appreciate the advance stage of gaining knowledge the easy way.. and the ability to trace evidence-based information when presented with what you are not sure of…I enjoy my potentials of finding journals/books/ magazines through virtual libraries etc..
I enjoy it all…

I feel the same, thought I don’t have much time in my hands to go here and there. What I like most about social media, it’s that it gives me the chance to get to know many people around the world, discover their lives and understand life better.

Absolutely true getting to know others is a great advantage too..
Regarding work it’s not too bad..I am still trying to find time for everything and time to sleep too :)..
Survived the first week, hope the rest will be much much better..

I actually gave up Twitter and FB so it’s funny reading your post. There are more positives than negatives for adults, but for kids/teens, I don’t think it’s a good thing.

i find it most frustrating when i go to look for a recipe (food example)…too many options…pinterest actually frustrates me, lol.

Me too I never was able to use it lol..
For recipes I just go for foodgawker , it’s my favourite ..
